About the Artist
Room307 is the solo project of Hong Kong singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and record producer Allex Chan. His self-produced, self-titled debut EP, Room307 (2018), gained early recognition for its unique touch of sounds, nostalgic lo-fi textures, and broad dream-pop arrangements.
Following his initial EP, Room307 released his debut full-length album, MEMORY BOY—a self-produced project featuring mastering production work from Kuo-Hung Tseng of Sunset Rollercoaster. The album showcases a distinct analog music touch, where his urban contemporary sound seamlessly blends elements of Latin, soul, and electronic textures, while further evolving his musical identity.
Alongside his solo project, Chan is a member (Bass/ Synthesizers/ Programmer) for the post-punk band N.Y.P.D. (南洋派對)and composed the original score for the short film Monsoon Blue, which received Best Animated Short Film at the 60th Golden Horse Awards.
